Run in the Dark Volunteer Event
This is Community Storehouses 23rd annual Run in the Dark Event. Every year we depend on dozens of volunteers to ensure the event is a success and this year is no different. As an event volunteer, you may be asked to do a variety of tasks, so you must be able to sit or stand for the duration of the volunteer event and be able to lift up to 20 lbs. We ask that volunteers dress for the weather and wear close toed shoes as this is an outdoor event.
Some of the tasks that you may be asked to assist with are:
- Runner Registration
- Glow bundle and wrist band pickup
- Kid zone activities
- Course Marshall for fun run and 5k
- Water station volunteers
- Traffic Control
- Other tasks as needed
Volunteers will need to park at Life Church located at 1075 Keller Parkway and shuttles will be available to take you to and from the event location. There will be food trucks on site for food purchase.
