During the 5K run, we are in need of individuals to assist along the run route. There are approximately 35 driveways/intersections that we are looking to have volunteers be present at. The job of this volunteer is to:
- Ensure runners stay on route
- Stop any vehicles from entering/exiting during the race (the business are Monday - Friday and have been made aware of road closures)
- Be the eyes and ears for any runner who might seem in distress and call appropriate staff to come and assist
- Cheer on Runners
Once you are checked in at the Volunteer Check-In station, you will be assigned a numbered location that you are then allowed to walk or drive your personal vehicle too.
