Hygiene items are a sought after commodity for many people struggling with food and financial insecurity. Many times, people must make hard choices between purchasing items for consumption and those for personal hygiene.
At Community Storehouse, in addition to the food that is provided through our Nutritional Center, we also typically have the ability to offer a hygiene bag that is donated by volunteers.
The hygiene bag contains the necessities that you would need when starting your day. We ask that items be packed in a gallon sized zip lock style bag so that in the event of a spill, we don't contaminate food items.
Each bag should contain FULL SIZE versions of:
- 1 bottle of shampoo
- 1 bar/bottle of soap or body wash
- 1 toothbrush
- 1 tube of toothpaste
- 1 deodorant
- 1 washcloth
- Additional items such as a small containers of lotions, floss, mouthwash etc. are not required but are very much appreciated.
6 completed bags will equal 2 hours of service to Community Storehouse.
Bags must be dropped at our Nutrition Center location 12001 Katy Rd. 76244 Monday - Thursday from 9-12 or 1:30-4:30 pm and Friday's from 9:00 - Noon.
MUST CHECK IN AT THE FRONT DESK OR ADD HOURS TO PORTAL TO RECEIVE THE HOURS - NO SIGNATURES WITHOUT INFORMATION ON YOUR PORTAL
Please do not drop bags at the Donation Center or Main office, as they may not be allocated correctly.
