Community Storehouse has been a non-profit serving our area for almost 40 years. Started as a partnership between several churches who saw the need in our community, we have only grown since then now serving 4 school districts, Keller, Northwest, Argyle and Carroll ISD's.
If you choose to volunteer at Community Storehouse, you will directly impacting our abilities to provide food and educational resources to low income children within our service area.
Things you may be asked to do are: sort and price donations, assist donors, load and unload donations, assist in the nutritional center by creating snack packs, Thanksgiving boxes and breaking down large quantities of items into smaller, more user friendly containers.
We ask that all volunteers when working in both the Donation Center and Nutritional Center, to wear weather appropriate clothing. While the spaces are climate controlled, they are open to the elements at times. You must also wear close toed shoes. Parking for volunteers is located at the front of the building, as well as in the lot to the north (the right hand side when facing the building). Please keep the area around the gate clear for donation drop off and food pickups.
