Volunteer: After School Tutoring/Mentoring 2025/2026

Thank you for wanting to contribute your time to support our after-school tutoring program. Your role in helping instill positive reinforcement, assisting with homework, and mentoring students is invaluable.

Below is the schedule we have for tutoring so you can know what grade-level you will be working with on the day you volunteer...

Mondays - 1st Grade

Tuesdays - 2nd Grade

Wednesdays - 3rd & 4th Grades

Thursdays - 5th & 6th Grades

These are a few requests we ask of you, if you choose to serve with us as an After-School Tutor...

Follow Through: If you sign up for a shift, please do come for that shift or remove your name so another person can take the shift.

Be on time: Please arrive promptly for your shift.

Sign in: Upon arrival, remember to sign in at the designated location.

Help with homework: Your assistance with homework is crucial in supporting students' academic progress.

Mentoring: Engage with students as a mentor, providing guidance and encouragement to help them succeed both academically and personally.

Commit to your full shift: We ask that you plan to stay for the entire duration of your assigned shift to ensure continuity and support for the students

Confidentiality:  Ensure that all information you come into contact with and details you learn about the students is kept in strict confidence.

We appreciate your dedication and look forward to a successful and enriching experience for everyone involved.

This opportunity requires a background check if you are over the age of 17.  Respond to the opportunity and you will receive an email in 2-3 days from Orange Tree.
