Volunteer: Blue Bin Check-up- Keller ISD CampusesHelp us keep our Blue Donation Bins in great shape! This is a great opportunity for YMSL, NCL or families to volunteer on their own schedule while making a big impact. This opportunity is designed to be done as a team. One adult must be present in the car. Only one sign up per car. Example: if there are two people in the car only sign up for one opportunity. Hours will be assigned to everyone after email is received.Here's how it works:Sign up for the Blue Bin Check-Up opportunity through our volunteer portal.Before your assigned day, stop by the Donation Center and see Gwen. She’ll provide a map and easy instructions for the campuses you’ll check. Monday- Saturday 9-4 On your assigned day, you can go at any time of day as long as it is on your assigned day, check in and head out to your bin route:If the bin is clean, take a quick photo and you’re done!If items are left outside the bin, please place them inside. If it all won't fit please tidy up and leave the items beside, not in front of, the bin.If the bin is full/overflowing, take a picture and send it to Gwen so we can schedule a pickup. If the bin is really bad send a before and after photo.

Within the warehouse, there are several opportunities for groups or individuals to help sort and organize donations. Everything from clothing, toys, electronics to furniture are brought to us and must be processed for our stores. Must be able to sort, lift and carry boxes/ bags. Please dress weather appropriate, shorts, t-shirt, closed toed shoes are REQUIRED in the donation center. Cold water/ drinks available to stay hydrated! ***13 and 14 years of age are required to have an approved adult volunteer (18 yrs of age or older) with them on site.
